Depth Chart Updates
Now that we have some games, let’s update the depth chart again. The biggest changes were the fallout of the James Harden trade. There were no new major injuries, though Andrew Bynum, Danny Granger and Nene Hilario have undetermined timelines. Amar’e Stoudemire return was pushed out to 6 to 8 weeks after he had surgery on his ruptured cyst and as mentioned previously, Eric Gordon‘s return has been delayed for 4 to 6 weeks. Hedo Turkoglu broke his hand Friday night; his timeline is not yet known. Brandon Rush damaged his knee and may miss several months.
Andrew Bogut and George Hill returned. Danilo Galinari, Manu Ginobili, Steve Nash, Chris Kaman, Patrick Patterson and Kevin Seraphin missed some time but should be fine for the upcoming week. Below are some changes I want to highlight. The additions in particular should interest deep leaguers:
Cleveland: placed Alonzo Gee as starter and C.J. Miles as reserve — expect this situation to change weekly
Denver: placed Kosta Koufos as starter and Javale McGee as reserve
Detroit: Added Kyle Singler and removed Austin Daye
Golden State: added Richard Jefferson and removed Charles Jenkins
Houston: added James Harden, Daequan Cook, Greg Smith and Marcus Morris
Miami: added Mike Miller and removed Josh Harrellson
New Orleans: added Roger Mason
Oklahoma City: added Kevin Martin and Hasheem Thabeet
Phoenix: added P.J. Tucker and removed Wesley Johnson
Portland: added Jared Jeffries and removed Joel Freeland
Toronto: added Alan Anderson and removed Linas Kleiza
Utah: added DeMarre Carroll and removed Alec Burks
Toughest omission is J.J. Barea, who was the best player for Minnesota in their home opener and is a popular add in shallow leagues.

Sit Steve Nash, who is out for at least a week with a leg fracture.
Jeff wanted brackets on Nash in this week’s Depth Chart update, and I didn’t. (That’s been fixed; call it Version 4.1)
He finished 8th to my 66th among 189 in the Friday Freeroll to win a $5 prize and — far more important — Sheridan Hoops bragging rights until further notice.
Everyone should listen to this guy.
