Daily Leagues at FanDuel
Week 1 ended with a loss of $15.23 from my $100 bankroll. I learned a lot, and will keep experimenting with the many different formats available in daily leagues. Early in the week, I’m sticking to $1 and $2 leagues with a few $5 investments in 50/50 leagues, as $100 works out to about $14 per day, if you aren’t cashing.
FanDuel Fifteen | Nov. 5 |
Stars | Over $7,000 |
LeBron James | $9,900 |
Carmelo Anthony | $8,800 |
DeMarcus Cousins | $8,700 |
Tim Duncan | $87,200 |
Stephen Curry | $7,200 |
Scrubs | Under $5,000 |
Lance Stephenson | $4,100 |
Festus Ezeli | $4,300 |
Greg Stiemsma | $4,200 |
P.J. Tucker | $3,400 |
Reggie Evans | $4,300 |
Starters | $5,000 to $7,000 |
Brook Lopez | $6,900 |
O.J. Mayo | $6,000 |
Ray Allen | $6,000 |
Carl Landry | $6,100 |
Caron Butler | $5,600 |
The chart is a selection of five good plays in each price range. Eight NBA games is a nice size for daily leagues, but FanDuel salaries keep adjusting, so it’s already a little harder to find bargains. The “Starters” section is loaded; you can make a very competitive team today from players near the $7,000 mark.
Here’s my tentative lineup, which can (and likely will) be edited right up until the deadline. It’s just a hunch on DeMarcus Cousins, who is about due to put everything together.

League 1:
SIT which ONE of JR Smith, Klay, or JJ Redick?
Keep Asik as my backup F? Or drop him for Pat Patterson or Caron Butler?
