Your handicapping can be fine in a one-day FanDuel league, but there are always surprises. The early injury to Lowry (who I used everywhere) seemed to completely ruin my chances, even in the ‘safe’ 50/50 pool, so I shrugged it off as bad luck, an $18 loss on the day, and went to bed early.

Imagine my surprise this morning to see that I cashed in four out of five contests! The biggest prize was $13.50 for winning a 3-player $5 league, with another $9 for finishing third of 20 and smaller awards for 48th place in a 446-player tournament and even three bucks for finishing 95th of 1,116 entries in the massive Dribbler.
Instead of being down $25.60 from the original $100 bankroll for Week 2, I’m $7.53 ahead. With no FD hoops pools on Thursday (just two NBA games) I’ll spend about $40 in several $1, $2 and $5 leagues tonight and a similar amount on Friday, including ten bucks to enter the DFBBC qualifier. More tomorrow on that $200,000 event.
The daily chart is a selection of five good plays in each price range. With 13 NBA games to choose from, it’s a particularly strong pool at the top and the middle, but FanDuel salaries keep changing, so it’s becoming harder every day to find great bargains. Good luck!
