- Our own Jim Park did an excellent job with the top 5 clips from November 19th: “How good was point guard Stephen Curry in Monday night’s win over the Dallas Mavericks, on the road, in overtime? - Who is the NBA’s Most Improved Player? Chris Sheridan has a Top 5 ranking.
- Roy Hibbert received a phone call from his Pacers coach to help get him back on track, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star: “Was it the phone call Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel made to center Roy Hibbert at close to midnight on Sunday night that got him going? If so, Vogel needs to call his starting center every night before a game and Hibbert’s parents should sit next to bench in the remaining 70 games of the regular season.”
- From Marc Stein of ESPN.com, via Twitter: “Spurs currently $1,149,135 below NBA’s luxury-tax line, enough to offer pro-rated minimum deal and stay under. (Mickael) Pietrus holding out for more.”
