After a couple of unlucky weeks, I had a good Tuesday, cashing consolation prizes in four different leagues. Finished 43rd of 1116 in one $2 tournament to win $10 and fifth in a 100-player league ($12) and came very close to winning some big money.
There’s another exciting contest tonight, a Super Satellite tournament that costs $2 to enter and is capped at 556 players. The top 100 finishers win a $10 entry into Friday’s DFBBC qualifier. The Daily Fantasy Basketball Championship is a $200,000 extravaganza. Each Friday you can win one of 15 trips to Las Vegas for the live final, where the winner gets $50,000 in cash and even last place wins $1,500. There is another $5,000 paid out in consolation prizes in each qualifier.
If you’re on a tight budget, a $2 investment this evening (and a little luck) can get you into the qualifier and you can’t win the DFBBC if you’re not in it.

The first thing you need to get ‘right’ is the superstars; I’m passing on Kobe and Dwight tonight because they played (very well) last night and may not be as pumped up to face the Kings, plus garbage time may limit their minutes in the fourth quarter. LeBron James vs. Kevin Durant is always a tossup; you could use both and go with bargains in every other spot, but I’m keying on KD and trying a more balanced approach. Good luck!
