Big men Al Horford of the Atlanta Hawks and Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs were named NBA Players of the Week on Monday.
Horford also had 26 points and 13 boards in a win over the Charlotte Bobcats.
Duncan won for the Western Conference as the Spurs went 3-1. He averaged 22.0 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 blocks.
Duncan had three double-doubles and also had a performance of 26 points, six assists, five rebounds and three blocks in an overtime win at Toronto.
Other nominees included Atlanta’s Jeff Teague, Boston’s Rajon Rondo, Charlotte’s Ramon Sessions, Denver’s Andre Iguodala, Houston’s Chandler Parsons, Memphis’ Rudy Gay, Miami’s Chris Bosh and LeBron James, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, and Sacramento’s Tyreke Evans.
