How O’Neal doesn’t know this number is a bit amusing – given the personal battles and history he has had with the Spurs franchise – but it’s not too surprising either. Perhaps beating them two of the three times he played against them in the playoffs during his tenure with the Lakers clouded his judgment on the matter. He also doesn’t come off as someone that would know a great deal about other teams or keep track of their accomplishments – this is the same guy that couldn’t distinguish the difference between Brook and Robin Lopez, after all.
