Fashion. The faux pas; the dos and don’ts. It all makes for great conversation. NBA athletes are generally big proponents of fashion, often wearing their endorsed apparel or sporting their nicest threads as they enter the arena on game day. One of the most recent trends over the past year or so would be the advent of “skinny” jeans for men. Rapper Lil’ Wayne may be one of the most recognizable celebrity men to sport the skinny jean look. Now, it seems—as Denver Nuggets guard

SH Blog: OJ Mayo ready for big season in Dallas
O.J. Mayo is growing up. and if the first four games of the 2012 NBA season are any indication, you can expect his game to evolve to new heights with his maturity. “Obviously I built a big-time ego and a comfort level like you made it and you arrived,” Mayo told Mac Engel of the Fort-Worth Star-Telegram. “There is so much more to prove, ways to get better. There is a long way to get better. You don’t get into the
Video: Are the Los Angeles Lakers in trouble?
There’s two schools of thought on what may be wrong with the Los Angeles Lakers. The first is that the offseason acquisitions of Dwight Howard and Steve Nash created the customary overreaction from NBA fans – specifically Lakers fans – who had visions of 70-win seasons and dynastic dominance dancing in their heads. When the Lakers followed a winless preseason by losing their first three games – pretty much scuttling any talk of 70 wins – there was another obligatory overreaction. This

Shawn Marion, Kyle Lowry Hurt; Thunder Rolling
It’s been one of ‘those’ seasons for the Dallas Mavericks. Already without Dirk Nowitzki (knee) and with assorted other injuries to key players preventing them from getting used to each other on the court, plus the Delonte West soap opera, they still got off to a 3-1 start. Now they have lost Shawn Marion to a sprained MCL. The initial prognosis is “at least three games” and the Matrix himself calls it “a minor little thing,” so his teammates and fantasy
NBA Players react to President Obama’s re-election
What do you do when you have thoughts about a big event going on in the country? You get on twitter, and you type in those 140 characters. That’s exactly what a countless number of NBA players did when President Barack Obama was re-elected as the U.S. President for another four years on Tuesday night. Kyle Lowry sprained his ankle against the Thunder, but that didn’t stop him from sharing his excitement. Bryon Russell’s enthusiasm got him to say some inappropriate things. Cuttino Mobley
