News broke early Saturday morning of a terrible tragedy that rocked the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs.
25 year-old linebacker Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend at their home before taking his own life at the Chiefs practice facility in front of his head coach, Romeo Crennel, and general manager, Scott Pioli.
There are a lot of details that are still unknown, and the police investigation is still ongoing, but what is known that should not be lost in the situation is that Belcher’s three-month-old daughter now is left without a mother or a father.
A number of NBA players have since tweeted about the incident.
Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Anthony Morrow, who is a deeply religious man, offered blessings as condolences.
