Center Andrew Bynum was 18 years, 6 days when he debuted for the Los Angeles Lakers and is the youngest ever. Drafted 10th overall by the Lakers in 2005, he averaged 1.7 points in limited action as a rookie but improved to 7.8 points the next season. He averaged 18.7 points last season before being traded to Philadelphia.
