The New York Knicks remain the NBA’s lone unbeaten team at home and are going to be sleeping in their own beds for a while.
Leading the Eastern Conference with a 15-5 mark, the Knicks travel across the East River tonight for a meeting with the Brooklyn Nets – which is pretty much a home game, based on the fan support they had in their first visit to the Barclays Center.
After that, the Knicks play six straight games at Madison Square Garden, where they are 8-0 with six double-digit wins.
The homestand starts Thursday with a nationally televised matchup against the struggling Los Angeles Lakers, who have myriad issues as they begin a four-game trip tonight in Cleveland. One of those issues is superstar center Dwight Howard, who doesn’t seem fully recovered from his offseason back surgery.
