Kevin Durant’s season-high in points is 37, accomplished twice. He is going to break it tonight if he is defended by Stephen Jackson, and here is why.
Jackson went on a Twitter attack (or was it a threat) against Ibaka last week, posting this message after Ibaka was involved in a dust-up with Metta World Peace:
“Somebody tell serg Abaka. He aint bout dis life. Next time he run up on me im goin in his mouth. That’s a promise. He doin 2 much.”
The tweet has since been deleted, but there is more background available here from Stephen Douglas of TheBigLead.com.
So I’ll set the over/under at 37 1/2, and let y’all wager amongst yourselves.
Meantime, that 38-or-more prediction is in the video below with CineSport’s Noah Coslov, along with some chatter about the rise of the Minnesota Timberwolves and a discussion of what’s gotten into 36-year-old Tim Duncan, who is playing the best ball he’s played in recent years.
