There are only three positions: Guard, Forward and Center. Pick two of each (plus two Utility players) without exceeding the $100,000 salary cap. The scoring system includes five “positive” categories and three “negative” — PTS = 1 pt; REB = 1.25 pts; AST = 1.5 pts; STL = 2 pts; BLK = 2 pts but you are penalized for turnovers (-1 pt) and it’s another -0.5 pts for each missed FT or FG.
Last night, I won a 6-man Pick ‘Em league, which paid $6.63 for my $2, and finished 48th out of 330 in a GPP. That game gets more interesting every day. In a $5 Double-Up league, I finished in the top half to earn $9, and I’m leading a 10-man weekly league after three days. However, my $11 entry in the DSBBC Qualifier limped home #256 out of 600 — no, I didn’t use Paul Pierce — and the $100 weekly bankroll is down to $72.

This approached is based on Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook being only human. It’s a long flight from Atlanta to Minneapolis and I’m using two Miami stars instead. Using four Blazers, including two obscure (and cheap) bench players, is a reaction to LaMarcus Aldridge being out and Wesley Matthews having a very sore hip. Lillard, Hickson and Nicolas Batum might play close to 48 minutes.
