DraftStreet Diary: New Fantasy Leagues Every Day; Win Cash
It’s great to be playing again at DraftStreet. Every Monday, I’ll start with a fresh $100 bankroll for the week and share my picks in this space once a day. Years of experience in traditional Roto and Head-to-Head formats doesn’t change the fact that I’m a relative novice in daily fantasy leagues. Nets Lose Fourth Straight; Kyrie Irving & Pau Gasol Back Soon

San Antonio Spurs swingman Stephen Jackson, Boston Celtics forward Chris Wilcox and Cleveland Cavaliers coach Byron Scott each were fined $25,000 by the NBA on Sunday. UPDATE: Jackson was fined for a hostile tweet directed at Oklahoma City Thunder big man Serge Ibaka. Currently sidelined by an injury, Jackson apparently watched Friday’s Lakers-Thunder game on ESPN and didn’t like what he saw. Spurs GM R.C. Buford wasn’t exactly thrilled with Jackson’s use of social media. “The recent public comments made by Stephen Jackson

The San Antonio Spurs scored 132 points on Saturday night in Charlotte, where Michael Jordan is going to change the team’s name — although he is advised in this column not to go back to “Hornets” once that becomes available after New Orleans changes its nickname to Pelicans. Of those 132 points, Tim Duncan had just 11. Does he get penalty points for that? [Read more…]
