The New York Knicks continued their impressive play with a 106 – 99 win against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday afternoon. The victory marks a 12-4 start (7-0 at Madison Square Garden) for the Knicks this season. While the win marks their third straight after dropping four of their previous seven games following their impressive 6-0 start, it was not without its pitfalls. David Stern is disingenuous. How’s that for one of those million-dollar words that the NBA commissioner loves to use when talking to the hoi polloi about basketball? It’s a humbling experience to have the $100 weekly bankroll wiped out again. That’s happened in three of the five weeks so far, with a small loss and a $100 win in the other two. I’m trying to be consistent in the amount of money I spend each day, and have recently begun to diversify my lineups, but it’s yet to pay off.
