Looking forward
There will be plenty of time for the Warriors to take care of business in the second half of the season. We’re starting to learn that their improved defense and lights-out shooting seem to be as sustainable as the Lakers season-long struggles: very. While they’re already bordering “toughest first round out” candidate, they’re going to need Andrew Bogut to make a productive return for them to have any real shot at contending in the West.
But for now they deserve a night to kickback, relax and watch with the rest of the Bay Area to see if two of its finest are deservingly selected to the All-Star team for the first time since 1997.
Until now.
“This city has been without an all-star since 97’ and our team has made such great strides this year,” Lee said.
“So Steph Curry for All-Star.”
