Go figure. You take the great Chris Paul (kneecap) out of the Clippers lineup and they drop 99 on a very good defensive team. Miami Heat All-Star leader LeBron James started his career in Sacramento. His first game as an NBA rookie for the Cleveland Cavaliers was played in ARCO Arena. (Sheridan covered it). So, as the day draws nearer that the Kings may soon make their exodus to Seattle, it seemed fitting that the Heat forward would make a nostalgic splash at the rim.

NEW YORK – The Milwaukee Bucks’ Brandon Jennings and the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant today were named Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week for games played Monday, Jan. 7 through Sunday, Jan. 13.
