GSW @ DAL: This concludes four very tough road games in five nights for the Warriors, who have lost the first three. Meanwhile, Dallas has been resting and getting healthier at home since defeating Portland on Wednesday. Look for Dirk Nowitzki and O.J. Mayo to handle most of the scoring, Shawn Marion to do a bit of everything and Vince Carter to keep the pressure on when the second unit takes over. It’s become clear in his absence just how important Jarrett Jack (shoulder) is to Golden State. If he returns, it can only help. Andrew Bogut will probably sit out this back-to-back as a precaution.
CHA @ PHI: It’s finally official; the 76ers have lost Jason Richardson (knee surgery) for the season, making Nick Young a starter and Dorell Wright an important role player. They are also without Thaddeus Young (hamstring) for the next three weeks, if not longer, and Andrew Bynum (knee) is still not close to returning. Their playoff chances are rapidly diminishing. Jrue Holiday and Spencer Hawes can’t do it alone, so Evan Turner has to get out of his slump, soon. Rookie Arnett Moultrie is now in the rotation and worth a pickup in deep leagues. The Bobcats coughed up a lead at home last night and are rarely dangerous on the road.
DET @ MIL: The Bucks are beginning a very easy stretch, with only three games in the next ten days, all at home against sub-.500 teams. They played very well in Denver on Tuesday, but lost Larry Sanders to a bruised lower back and couldn’t handle Utah without him the following night. The Pistons did win big on their home court last night, but they are 5-18 on the road. Especially if Sanders can’t go, Monroe will be tough to stop, but Milwaukee should still prevail. Ersan Ilyasova might have a big night and Monta Ellis is another solid play.
UTA @ SAC: This is a rematch of last Monday’s game in Utah. The frustrating DeMarcus Cousins got tossed from that one at halftime for verbally abusing an official, but the Kings took it to overtime before losing and haven’t played since. If DMC feels like playing basketball, they are fresh enough to win tonight. Isaiah Thomas is a must-start and Tyreke Evans seemed to tire on that 1-5 road trip. Tonight, it’s the Jazz will be battling fatigue, so it might even be a blowout.
