Week 16 Schedule Analysis
The LA Clippers are the only team with three games this week.
The Suns, Grizzlies, Knicks, Warriors, and Magic play only one game in this abbreviated week.
All twenty-four other teams play two games.
Nine teams have only home games: Magic, Knicks, Bucks, Grizzlies, Lakers, Pacers, Pistons, Mavericks, and Cavaliers
Nine teams play only road games: Wizards, Spurs, Kings, Blazers, Suns, Rockets, Warriors, Nuggets, and Hawks
The Raptors will be pushing it on offense this week. On Tuesday, they have the Nuggets at home and the next day, Knicks on the road. I can see some big fantasy numbers from players like Kyle Lowry, Andrea Bargnani, and DeMar DeRozan this week.
Boston has been playing well since Rondo went out, as Kevin Garnett has been putting up good numbers.
Clippers finish the week “on the road” against Lakers. That could be labeled a home game and if it is, the Clippers are 20-5 at home.
Jrue Holiday may have tough week as he’s matched-up against Chris Paul and Brandon Jennings. Both are great defensive point guards who combine for 4.4 steals per game.
Depth Chart
As always, we update the Sheridan Hoops Depth Chart every Sunday. It’s a convenient look at the ten most useful fantasy players on each NBA team. The biggest changes were in Philadelphia, where Jason Richardson (knee surgery) was deleted and Jeremy Pargo added as a backup guard. Injured players are noted with square brackets and each player’s stats are one click away. Worth checking before you pick up a free agent.
