I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. – MJ
26. All those years of being overlooked and the relentless hard work culminated in this moment on June 12, 1991 when MJ won his first title. God, this had to feel good.
So. Damn. Good:
The game of basketball has been everything to me. My place of refuge, place I’ve always gone where I needed comfort and peace. It’s been the site of intense pain and the most intense feelings of joy and satisfaction. It’s a relationship that has evolved over time, given me the greatest respect and love for the game.
~ Michael Jordan
25. The Dream Team experience through MJ’s eyes:
24. Game 1 vs. Portland, 1992. 35 first half points. 6 3-pointers. 2 NBA Finals records: One priceless shrug:
23. Forever Retired.
22. Simply on another level:
21. The ball was thrown by B.J. Armstrong from the right side of the floor near half-court to Jordan in the center circle…
Jordan paused for a second, but then burst by Kevin Johnson…
Danny Ainge left Armstrong and came over to try to help near the top of the key, but he was too late…
Charles Barkley stepped into the middle of the paint and tried to use his body to deter Jordan from making the shot…
But Jordan glided around him and willed the ball in the hoop.
And-1, to close out a 55-point performance in Game 4 of the 1993 NBA Finals, a game that would come to be known as “The Shootout.”
20. Reggie Miller tapped in a layup after Jordan blocked his teammate’s shot. Miller then went out of his way to give MJ a love tap on the baseline. Five years later, prior to his second retirement in 1998, Jordan quipped what is perhaps the best verbal assault on Miller of all time in an interview with Jet magazine:
“It’s like chicken-fighting with a woman. His game is all this flopping-type thing. He weighs only 185 pounds, so you have to be careful; don’t touch him, or it’s a foul. On offense I use all my 215 pounds and just move him out. But he has his hands on you all the time, like a woman holding your waist. I just want to beat his hands off because it’s illegal. It irritates me.”

When i heard NBA Live was coming back I was first of all happy. Live was the sreies that got me into basketball with two years straight of no Live it was disappointing. Now that there back first thing is first you need to stay true to the game not just a game where you built the engine, and add stuff to it no! You have to stay true what I’ve always wanted in a game as some fellow people who have commented have said. Haven Espn on ABC sunday’s or TNT thurday’s etc. Make the graphics better on Live 10. Maybe have a engine that what ever the players stamina is that’s how much he’s sweating. So if a guy has low stamina then he will be sweating a little bit every time he runs up and down the court while a guy with high stamina won’t start sweating maybe until his third time up and down the court. Add the all star weekend but include the skills challenge which would be so fun. Like 2k the ability to create your own shoes. Last but not least people with Kinect or web cam should be able to be themselves in a games.

your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?
Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one today.

It’s really so cray when you break down his career the way that you did. Would have liked to see more memorable fights and “trash-talking” moments. MJ was really such a jerk! #MJ #GOAT #STILL #A #JERK #WINNER
