My father used to say that it’s never too late to do anything you wanted to do. And he said, ‘You never know what you can accomplish until you try.’ – MJ
19. On October 6, 1993, Michael Jordan shocked the basketball world and suddenly announced his retirement. After the death of his father, he simply lost his joy for the game. He could no longer summon the energy to compete at the worlds highest level.
“At this particular time in my career, I’ve reached the pinnacle,” Jordan said:
18. To better understand why Jordan retired, it’s important to understand the role his father, James Jordan, played in his life and what baseball represented to he and his family.
17. On March 18, 1995, MJ issued a two-word release to the media:
“I’m back.”
The 32-year-old Jordan was back in a Chicago Bulls uniform the next day. His customary number of 23 had been retired by Chicago after Jordan announced his retirement, so he donned 45 instead:
16. Just 10 days after his return, he dropped 55 at The World’s Most Famous Arena. He even had a some fun at the end, fooling everyone by dumping off a fadeaway jump shot to Bill Wennington for a dunk to clinch the game.
The virtuoso “Double Nickel” performance:
15. The 1995-’96 Chicago Bulls won an NBA-record 72 games, which led all of us to believe that nothing was going to prevent them from winning the championship. They were so dominant, in large part to MJ’s every-game relentlessness, that this column was published in the Chicago Tribune at the beginning of the playoffs, all but guaranteeing they would win the title.
14. The number of times Jordan made the All-Star Game: 1985-93, 1996–98, 2002-03. He compiled 262 points (18.7 ppg) during those games, which was the most all-time until Kobe Bryant passed him last year.

If time is money you’ve made me a wealthier woman.
That’s a genuinely impressive answer.
I had no idea how to approach this before-now I’m locked and loaded.
Great common sense here. Wish I’d thought of that.
At last, someone comes up with the “right” answer!
That’s a skillful answer to a difficult question
Such an impressive answer! You’ve beaten us all with that!
How could any of this be better stated? It couldn’t.

When i heard NBA Live was coming back I was first of all happy. Live was the sreies that got me into basketball with two years straight of no Live it was disappointing. Now that there back first thing is first you need to stay true to the game not just a game where you built the engine, and add stuff to it no! You have to stay true what I’ve always wanted in a game as some fellow people who have commented have said. Haven Espn on ABC sunday’s or TNT thurday’s etc. Make the graphics better on Live 10. Maybe have a engine that what ever the players stamina is that’s how much he’s sweating. So if a guy has low stamina then he will be sweating a little bit every time he runs up and down the court while a guy with high stamina won’t start sweating maybe until his third time up and down the court. Add the all star weekend but include the skills challenge which would be so fun. Like 2k the ability to create your own shoes. Last but not least people with Kinect or web cam should be able to be themselves in a games.
I am really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on
your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?
Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one today.
It’s really so cray when you break down his career the way that you did. Would have liked to see more memorable fights and “trash-talking” moments. MJ was really such a jerk! #MJ #GOAT #STILL #A #JERK #WINNER
