From Surya Fernandez of SBNation.com, the Miami Heat are pursuing Timofey Mozgov of the Denver Nuggets to bolster their weak front-court: “Short of offering a young player with potential like Norris Cole, which would leave the team exposed at the point guard spot behind the inconsistent Mario Chalmers, the Heat do not appear to have any pieces to dangle in front of the Nuggets, aside from future draft picks. The Philadelphia 76ers still owe the Heat a protected first round pick when they acquired rookie Arnett Moultrie, the 27th pick of the 2012 NBA Draft, from the defending champs on June 28 2012.”
