I got an extended tour of the USC campus.

LOS ANGELES, CA— When you head on the road for a two-and-a-half week trip to Houston and Los Angeles, you’re bound to screw up somewhere along the way.

That screw up happened to me last night: I was supposed to attend an Arizona vs. USC game tonight at the Galen Center in downtown LA, but that game is tomorrow evening.

Hey, at least I get my pick between Arizona State at UCLA or Zona at USC tomorrow, right?

Pauley Pavilion will likely be the destination of choice.

LeBron James, on the other hand, certainly didn’t forget that he had a game last night.

Followed up by a season-high 40 points (14-23 FG), a career-high 16 helpers, 8 rebounds and just 2 turnovers in 48 minutes of a total 58 minutes in a two overtime, 141-129 victory over the Kings, extending their winning streak to 12 in a row:

The only other player to record 40, 15+ and 5 rebounds in a game is Oscar Robinson (11 times). James also closed out February shooting 64.1%. No player has shot over 64% from the field for an entire month since Kareem did it in March of 1983.
