Freeroll Tomorrow, Money Leagues Tonight
The Sheridan Hoops Freeroll pays out $300 cash to the top 15 finishers — first prize is a hundred bucks — and costs nothing to enter. If you have never tried daily fantasy hoops, it’s the perfect introduction, but even if you play every night and are something of an expert, it’s quite a challenge to beat 1,000 (or more) opponents.
There are only two NBA games tonight, but there are still Salary Cap and Pick ‘Em contests if you don’t want to wait for Friday, and the odds of winning are many times better in $2 leagues than in the Freeroll.

You can make unlimited roster moves until the 8:00 EST deadline, and it’s very important to check for breaking news today about Carmelo Anthony. If he misses another game, that makes Raymond Felton, Tyson Chandler and Amare Stoudemire even more likely to outproduce their salaries. If Melo does return, he’ll be less than 100% but will dominate the ball, so I won’t be using him or any other Knicks.
