Money For Nothing in Tonight’s Freeroll
In addition to the Sheridan Hoops Freeroll, which pays out $300 cash to the top 15 finishers, it’s “last call” to qualify for the very lucrative DraftStreet Basketball Championship.
Since November 21, 29 people have made it to the Main Event with a chance at $50,000 cash. Your final opportunity is tonight. It costs $11 to enter and there will be only 600 teams, with $1,500 in consolation prizes ($350 for second, $120 for third) and the winner gets to play for the seriously big bucks.
Today’s chart is NOT for the Freeroll, where salaries were locked in on Monday. In the DSBBC and other Friday leagues, they have been adjusted each day.
DraftStreet 15 | Mar. 8 |
Stars | Over $13,000 |
Kevin Durant | $22,332 |
LeBron James | $22,759 |
Kobe Bryant | $21,361 |
Stephen Curry | $18,644 |
David Lee | $17,911 |
Scrubs | Under $9,000 |
Marcus Morris | $8,032 |
Markieff Morris | $7,860 |
Jarrett Jack | $8,996 |
Ben Gordon | $6,092 |
Shaun Livingston | $7,714 |
Starters | $9,000 to $13,000 |
Rudy Gay | $12,925 |
Joe Johnson | $10,139 |
Gerald Henderson | $9,371 |
Luis Scola | $9,321 |
Klay Thompson | $11,681 |
You can make unlimited roster moves until the 7:00 EST deadline, and my speculative pick of Shaun Livingston is based on a hunch that Kyrie Irving will be rested. If I have to make a change to a more expensive player at G2, that will require cutting back somewhere else, as the following lineup is just $105 under the $100,000 salary cap.
F1 David Lee (GS-F) $17,911
F2 Chandler Parsons (HOU-F) $14,097
G1 Stephen Curry (GS-G) $18,644
G2 Shaun Livingston (CLE-G) $7,714
C1 Marc Gasol (MEM-C) $16,979
C2 Jonas Valanciunas (TOR-C) $7,197
U1 Luis Scola (PHO-F) $9,321
U2 Marcus Morris (PHO-F) $8,032
There are 12 NBA games tonight, over 300 players in the pool and several million possible 8-man combinations. It’s always fun to set your roster and always challenging to win. Good luck with all your teams!
