It took quite some time for Amare Stoudemire to regain his form as a dominant force on the basketball court since suffering a back injury two postseasons ago.
The power forward was never quite right last season, and missed a good chunk of this season due to a knee issue that still has him playing on a minutes restriction – recommended by the team’s doctors.
Slowly but surely, though, Stoudemire is showing signs of his dominant self once again.
During Thursday’s contest between the New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder, two very old point guards – Jason Kidd and Derek Fisher – were going at it on the “fast” break. Fisher stole the ball from Kidd and looked to get a relatively easy look at the basket, and then this happened:
