Freeroll Winner Collects $100 on 1000-1 Shot

Congratulations to “Enos,” whose well-balanced team won the $100 first prize in last night’s Freeroll. There were ‘only’ 1,007 teams entered this week and I beat 928 of them, but 79th place is out of the money.

It hasn’t been my best week; down $51 from the $100 bankroll with just two days to go, I need a bit of luck tonight or tomorrow to avoid getting skunked. That’s the nature of daily leagues. You never know when it’s your turn. My philosophy of being consistent (playing every night) and diversifying (entering multiple teams where permitted) tends to pay off when it’s least expected.
