1		DWIGHT HOWARD, C, LA LAKERS: Lakers have played five games in seven nights, four on the road. D12’s return to Orlando was a tough atmosphere; he responded with 39 points and 16 rebounds. Scoring not where it needs to be, but 14.4 boards over the past week is solid. CP3 on his tail but not passing him yet.	1
2		CHRIS PAUL, G, LA CLIPPERS: Leading the Clippers to just the franchise’s ninth playoff berth in its history and its first division title ever. Last Wednesday’s loss to the Grizzlies hurt his cause to overtake Howard for the top spot, but we’ll see what he does in three games this week.	2
3		JOSH SMITH, F, ATLANTA: J-Smoove was arguably the best two-way player on the court Sunday in Brooklyn with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks and a steal and that followed an impressive 17-11-7 against the Suns last Friday. The Monday loss to the Mavs was the fifth game in 7 nights; we’ll overlook it.	5
4		BRANDON JENNINGS, G, MILWAUKEE (R): The 1-3 week that Jennings and his Bucks turned in was quite funky. But even worse? Over the past week, Jennings has shot just 14-of-45 from the field. That’s 31 percent and pretty awful. Still, at 33-32, they have firm grasp on the East’s eighth and final spot.	3
5		AL JEFFERSON, C, UTAH: Big Al deserves a timeout. His Jazz have fallen out of the West playoff picture and dropped a 90-83 decision to the shorthanded Knicks on Monday. Over the last week, Jefferson has given the Jazz 10.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Blah.	4
6		DAVID WEST, F, INDIANA: Missed just his second game this season Monday night but hasn’t really impressed over the past week. His 13-10-6 -effort vs. the Wolves last Wednesday is what we’ve come to expect from him. He moves ahead of J.J. Hickson not totally on his own merit, so we’ll watch closely.	7
7		TYREKE EVANS, G, SACRAMENTO (R): We’ve got all sorts of love for Tyreke. And that 42-point beating the Kings put on the Bulls last Wednesday was astonishing, as Evans dropped 26 points with 5 boards and 7 dimes. As his health improves (currently battling a foot issue), we will see those efforts regularly.	11
8		J.J. HICKSON, F, PORTLAND: Two double-doubles last week gave him 37 for the season. Though Terry Stotts benched him in Monday’s loss at Philly, Hickson has been as valuable as someone can be on a 31-35 team. But the benching hurts since we still don’t know if he is just a contract year performer or future star.	6
9		MANU GINOBILI, G, SAN ANTONIO: The Spurs are being the Spurs and Manu is being Manu. Just 9.3 points per game over the past week for our favorite Argentine, but when you’re dropping dimes (6.7 per game), playing limited minutes and winning (2-1 last week), we can overlook that, for the most part.	8
10		PAUL MILLSAP, F, UTAH: Hasn’t had a double-double since March 4 and only has 6 in 2013. His 13 points, 8 boards and 3 steals helped the Jazz to Saturday’s improbable victory over the Grizzlies, but the dearth of explosive performances and 41 percent shooting over the past week leave something to be desired.	9
11		ANDRAY BLATCHE, F, BROOKLYN: The Nets have some of the league’s most overpaid players, but Blatche isn’t one of them. He’s been a consistent producer off the bench all season, giving them 10 points and 5 boards in 19 minutes. His 15-8-4 effort Monday against Detroit shows his potential; he’ll get paid.	–
12		KEVIN MARTIN, G, OKLAHOMA CITY: Moving up is more a tribute to his Thunder going 3-0 last week than any production on his part. His 13.0 points on 50 percent shooting from is what we expect from him. No longer capable of carrying the scoring load but remains productive off the bench.	13
13		ANDREW BYNUM, C, PHILADELPHIA: Another knee surgery means no burn for him in Philly this season. We officially have no idea what he will command on the open market, but if it’s anything more than three guaranteed years, something’s wrong. But yes, he’s still worth the risk, bum knees and all.	10
14		J.J. REDICK, G, MILWAUKEE: What have you done for me lately? Against his former team Sunday night, Redick managed just 4 points in 23 minutes. Not a good night for someone whose primary responsibility is to provide points off the bench. We won’t totally kick him to the curb just yet, though.	12
15		TONY ALLEN, G, MEMPHIS: Though a woeful outside shooter, he’s been a key cog to the Grizzlies’ machine for as long as we can remember. Memphis is fighting hard for the West’s third seed, and he’s a major reason why. That’s hard not to notice, especially with the Grizz’s 96-85 win over the Clips last Wednesday.	–
