Daily Leagues Going Strong Right Through Playoffs
As traditional fantasy basketball leagues wind down to a conclusion, with Roto standings bunching up and the always-exciting Head-to-Head playoffs, don’t forget that every single day is a brand new season at DraftStreet.
Every Monday, I start with a fresh $100 bankroll; last week included several of those frustrating close-but-no-cigar nights, and I lost $42. Tonight, there’s one enormous decision to make before considering any other players. Will the magnificent LeBron James be worth his $23,208 salary, or not? He was not on my teams yesterday, but would have been if I’d known that Dwyane Wade was getting the night off. You either have to key on the King, and spend an average of less than $11,000 on your other seven players, or bet against him.

F1 Zach Randolph (MEM-F) $15,131
F2 Anthony Davis (NO-F) $14,528
G1 Greivis Vasquez (NO-G) $14,444
G2 Jameer Nelson (ORL-G) $12,871
C1 Robin Lopez (NO-C) $11,852
C2 Emeka Okafor (WAS-C) $10,717
U1 Jarrett Jack (GS-G) $11,031
U2 Darrell Arthur (MEM-F) $8,891
The above lineup is subject to change, but as you can see, I’m going for the balanced approach. Using three Hornets against the mighty Nuggets may seem crazy, but I’m expecting Denver to be a little careless and New Orleans has won two in a row against ‘superior’ teams.
