Jeremy Bauman: Off the bat, there are so many different directions to go with this question.
Can Cody Zeller score and be productive against the length of Cuse on the inside?
Will Ben McLemore get back on track after scoring two and 11 points, respectively, in his first two tournament games?
Does Vander Blue really have what it takes to lead Marquette to another win?
Can Michael Carter-Williams, Brandon Triche, CJ Fair and James Southerland all shine at once?
The player with the most to gain, though, is Tim Hardaway Jr. He’s going to be matched up with Ben McLemore at times and has a chance to prove he’s a worthy first round pick. If he can get the best of McLemore, it’ll generate the headlines he needs to crack the first round.

Maxwell Ogden: That’s a simple question to answer: Ben McLemore of the Kansas Jayhawks.
I’ve been wary of his status as the No. 1 draft choice since the beginning of the season, as he tends to disappear in big games. That’s been the case thus far, as he’s shooting 2-for-14 during the NCAA Tournament—that includes an 0-for-9 performance in the Round of 32.
This is a continuation of the Big 12 championship game, where McLemore shot 2-of-7. In other words, he’s 4-for-21 during his past three games. If there’s ever been a player who forced his way out of the top pick, it’s McLemore—he needs a statement game.
Ben Baroff: I cannot disagree with Ben McLemore, but Cody Zeller of Indiana is playing under the same spotlight. And it will be as bright as ever this weekend.
Zeller, the preseason Player of the Year, entered this season with lofty expectations. Almost unfair to put on the shoulders of a sophomore big that isn’t fed a proper dosage of the ball.
Zeller is averaging an impressive 16.7 points and eight rebounds per game on 57 percent shooting, but has failed to impress those who makeup the draft boards. Zeller has slipped from the consensus No. 1 overall pick in this years draft to somewhere in the lottery.
Some even believe he should return for another year.
Zeller’s future is still undecided, but an impressive showing this weekend will improve the hand he’s dealt when it’s time to make a decision.
