The NBA announced today that eight NBA teams will take part in a global games schedule that will include a total of eight games in six countries this October. There are always two sides to every story. We saw Serge Ibaka chop down on Blake Griffin’s manhood on Sunday, and unless you have no sympathy towards any man that gets whacked in their jewels whatsoever, you would agree that Ibaka should probably have been thrown out of that game, and a suspension ought to be coming his way. With the NBA season slowly but surely winding down, we’re starting to get a clearer understanding of who’s going to be in the playoffs, who’s going to be out and who’s going to fight until the very end. Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks are seeds No. 7 and 8 respectively in the Eastern Conference, and both are in a dog fight – whether they want to admit it or not – to avoid facing the Miami Heat in the first round.
With only seven games on the NBA schedule Monday night, the focus was on the Miami Heat and its pursuit of a franchise record 15th consecutive win in Minnesota.
