But he was grabbing his chest and shoulder during the Knicks’ 95-82 win over Atlanta, and said it was all related to the neck. “It was getting physical out there, starting to stiffen up,” Chandler said. “I’m not as mobile as I would like to be. Hopefully that starts to get better. “It’s just difficult for me to locate the ball as far as trying to look up, whether it be rebounds, lobs, high passes. I’m just really stiff right now. I’m just not there yet.”
Jamal Crawford believes the Clippers are underrated, from Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld: “If we play our style of play and play our game, I’m confident in us against anybody. It is silly because it presumes that there is a particular player that will “have to step up”. How should that question be answered: by naming a particular player or particular players? by saying “everyone”? by saying “I don’t know, let’s see who rises to the occasion”? And why is it that there is a specific person that “has to” do it? It seems like a reflex question that isn’t likely to lead anywhere useful.
See, that’s not what Pop is processing in his mind in that split second while he’s being asked the question. He’s doing this on purpose, and he’s doing everything he can to give the crappiest answer possible, no matter the question.
