In our 6 O’Clock News, we shared a report about the surprising unrest in the Los Angeles Clippers locker room. Here’s the quick recap: “DeAndre Jordan is growing restless with Vinny Del Negro and his inconsistent distribution of minutes. Moreover, in Sacramento, Griffin and Jordan had a heated exchange on the bench. Simmers writes, “Griffin told Jordan he best never again stare him down as he did when Griffin failed to give Jordan a good pass for a dunk.” Moreover, the piece alleges that

Tweet of the Day: Shane Battier (via Tom Haberstroh)
Mark Cuban made headlines Tuesday when he said that he’d be willing to give Baylor Lady Bears’ star Brittney Griner a shot if she were the best available talent in the second round of the 2013 NBA Draft. Since then, there has been a steady stream of both opposition and optimism that a woman might one day be drafted into the NBA. ESPN’s Tom Haberstroh spoke with Miami Heat small forward Shane Battier about it.

Sheridan: ‘Melo closing in on Durant; Who is Coach of the Year?
Carmelo Anthony goes into Friday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks trailing Kevin Durant for the NBA scoring lead by just two-tenths of a percentage point — 28.3 to 28.1. SH Blog: Miller says Nuggets are more unselfish than past, Wall names eight PGs better than him
Despite playing without anyone great enough to be considered a franchise-level player, or even an All-Star, for that matter, the Denver Nuggets sure have found a recipe for great success this season. Whether it’s youth, the selflessness of the players, or a collection of unique talents, George Karl – as he usually does – has made his team dominant to the tune of third best (51-24) in the Western Conference. Karl may not have a superstar to rely on as he once
