When Doc Rivers made the decision to leave the Boston Celtics to join the Los Angeles Clippers, Bill Simmons was quick to point out that the coach simply chose to quit on his now-former team.
As a part of the analyst crew for ESPN, Simmons has the right to state his opinion on what he believes happened. Unfortunately for him, that sentiment also rings true for Rivers, who fired back at Simmons by calling him an idiot (pretty much) during the 2013 NBA Draft on Thursday night:
These things tend to happen when analysts publicly get on the case of any player or coach, depending on how sensitive said person is. Some may choose not to get involved and simply say “that’s his opinion”. Clearly, Rivers has had enough of Simmons. Calling him an idiot was reminiscent of LeBron James calling Charles Barkley stupid some years ago for saying the forward should “shut the hell up” about his free agency status.
The squabbling continued on Friday, when Rivers explained why he took a jab at Simmons on The Dan Patrick Show:
“Bill’s a fan,” Rivers told Patrick. “Is he qualified to do the NBA? Well, we can debate that all day. But Bill’s a fan. And I get that. Not a friend of mine or a fan of mine, and he never has been. I rarely respond. You know that. I don’t do it very often. But I’d just kind of had enough of that. I thought it kind of ruined the broadcast last night, ’cause he kept bringing it up. It was almost like he had an agenda. I was just getting tired of it.”
While acknowledging he fared well by moving to the Clippers, Rivers said the Celtics had a strategy and they stuck to it.
“I think last night happened exactly the way Danny the Celtics wanted it to,” he said. “They wanted to unload contracts for draft picks, and I happened to be one of those contracts.”
Added Rivers: “Clearly, yeah, I had a selfish motive. I had a chance to not rebuild and go to a team that is in a different phase of their franchise so everybody benefited. And I clearly, at least I hope, I benefited from it. But this is done together. This is not me walking into the Celtics and saying I quit or anything like that.”
Rivers went even further on Weei, accusing Simmons of trying to get him fired. To that, Simmons had this to say:
The quote I just retweeted is an outright, 100 percent lie. I’d be careful, Glenn. Seriously. Stop talking. You are making sh*t up.
— Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) June 28, 2013
The retweet can be seen below.
Doc on @WEEI about @BillSimmons: “He did everything he could to get me fired. Wrote letters, wanted to sit down w/ owners to talk about it.”
— Ben Rohrbach (@brohrbach) June 28, 2013
Hopefully, the back and forth between the two ends there because this thing is starting to take a life of its own and getting uglier than anyone could have expected. The “I’d be careful” warning while using Doc’s real first name hints at the possibility of things getting really out of hand, but there’s no reason for this to go any further than it already has, given how trivial the arguments have become.

I think everything posted was very reasonable.
But, think on this, what if you added a little content?
I ain’t saying your content isn’t solid., but what if you added a headline to maybe grab a person’s attention? I mean Tweet of the Night: Bill Simmons warns Doc
Rivers about making false accusations is a little boring.
You should glance at Yahoo’s home page and see how they create post headlines to get viewers to open the links.
You might add a video or a related picture or two to grab readers interested about everything’ve written. Just my opinion, it would make your posts a little livelier.

For the interest of creating an important product comparisons,
we have looked at routers in this array that reveal similar characteristics such

Nothing less than an n router should be considered, if you are buying a

The latest routers also increase speed with wi fi Quality of Service applications (QoS) common, which makes effective usage of Ethernet connections by prioritizing multimedia visitors according
to the program’s sensitivity to delay. Many wireless-n routers also employ multiple-input and multiple-output
