- Julyan Stone will be re-united with Masai Ujiri in Toronto, according to Christopher Dempsey of The Denver Post: “There was little chance guard Julyan Stone would return to the Nuggets and Thursday that became no chance as he agreed to a contract with Toronto, a source confirmed. Stone moving on was inevitable as the Nuggets did not extend a qualifying offer, which would have made Stone a restricted free agent and given the franchise a chance to match any offer. Stone can officially sign with the Raptors on July 10. In Toronto, Stone is reunited with general manager Masai Ujiri, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2011 for the Nuggets.”

The deal has a player option in the third season, and the Bobcats will have to use their amnesty clause on forward Tyrus Thomas in order to make the deal work.
