Two-time NBA champion, four-time regular season MVP and the Miami Heat’s perennial All-Star forward LeBron James is not done building his legacy.
The foundation was cemented when he won his first ring in 2012. Now, with two Larry O’Brien and Bill Russell trophies in his possession, the walls are up and he has secured his place as one of the league’s all-time greats.
But, he is not done. LeBron has said numerous times in the past that his goal is to be the greatest ever—a goal that will require much more effort.
A month removed from his second championship and he is back in the gym, working to further improve his offensive game.

His words should resonate with anyone who aspires to some great achievement. The work that you put into honing your skills and improving your abilities when no one is watching, that is what will ultimately shape your future and determine your potential.
Each of his tweets Tuesday contained an Instagram video of his workout, demonstrating his commitment to improving his offensive game this offseason.

As impressive as James was in 2012-13, both in the post and shooting on the perimeter, the possibility still exists that he is not done getting better.
Clearly, he has more championships (plural) in his sights.
We’ll have to wait, however, until next June to see if the extra work will yield the fruit that he so eagerly desires.
