Not everyone in the NBA shares all their thoughts about important or relevant matters going on around the league, but it appears some – at the very least – are aware of them.
Earlier in the past week, Shabazz Muhammad was sent home from the NBA rookie transition program for having a female in his bedroom – a violation of the rules. Other than Matt Barnes, not many had much to say about the rookie’s lapse in judgment. Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams certainly never mentioned anything about it, but he gave his teammate Mason Plumlee – still at the program – a sarcastic warning about not getting kicked out after the rookie posted a photo of himself learning the ropes on how to properly dress in the NBA.

Nice low-key dig, Mr. Williams.

Mason will be carrying a lot of luggage this season. Hope he doesn’t get his car filled with popcorn like Reggie Evans and Deron did to MarShon Brooks last season.
For the record, Plumlee was measured to be 7’0.5″ in shoes, making him 7’1″ tall. Brook Lopez is probably close to 7’3″ in shoes, and the only reason Kevin Garnett didn’t want to admit to being 7′ tall, is that he would have been asked to cover Shaq. We should have enough benchmarks to see if Andray Blatche is really only 6’11” in shoes.
Nets newest guards, Alan Anderson and Shawn Livingston are 6’6″ and 6’7″ respectively, and Joe Johnson is 6’7″. Nets SFs, Kirilenko, Pierce and Shengelia are 6’9″, 6’7″ and 6’9.5″ respectively.
Nets have to be the tallest team all around, in NBA. Hasn’t been discussed yet.

I am looking forward to the upcoming season for the Nets as much as you appear to be, Jerry.
