Ever wonder what Kobe Bryant would look like in a black uniform? Well you’re about to find out.
In today’s news, the Lakers announced they will be pairing the Black Mamba and co. with some black uniforms. Also, the 76ers added depth to their backcourt, and Magic Johnson reacted to LeBron James’ list of the greatest players of all time.
Lakers to wear black uniforms in 2013-2014
The Los Angeles Lakers tweeted out a teaser video of what their new alternate jerseys will look like for the upcoming season.

The black uniforms will be a part of the team’s Hollywood Nights promotion and will be worn in select games throughout the season. The team will also reportedly unveil white uniforms with sleeves on Christmas day in a matchup against the Miami Heat.
Los Angeles will still primarily wear yellow jerseys at home and purple jerseys on the road.
Memphis trades Wroten to Philadelphia
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Memphis Grizzlies have traded Tony Wroten to the Philadelphia 76ers for a conditional second round pick.
The pick is top-50 protected, meaning Philadelphia will essentially acquire Wroten for nothing.
Wroten was the Grizzlies first round pick last season (25th overall). He left the University of Washington in 2012 after a strong freshman campaign but went on to see limited action as a rookie with Memphis.
At only 20 years old, he still has the potential to become a legitimate contributor in the NBA.
The Grizzlies will save just over $1 million in salary as a result of the trade. The 76ers, meanwhile, will move closer to the NBA’s minimum team salary requirement of $52.811 million.
On a team with so few quality NBA players, Wroten should have the opportunity to contend for significant minutes with the 76ers off the bat.
Magic Johnson responds to LeBron James’ greatest players list
Yesterday, we told you about LeBron James’ rankings of the three greatest players in NBA history. Conspicuously unnamed? Magic Johnson.
Today, the five time NBA champion responded to James’ rankings with some basic arithmetic.
NBA Championship rings are all that matter; Jordan 6, Me 5, Bird 3, LeBron 2 and Dr. J 1.

James ranked Johnson fourth on his list of all time greats.
To his credit, it doesn’t appear as though Johnson took the omission personally:
Lebron is entitled to his opinion, but I still think that he and I have a similar game and that’s why I LOVE to watch him play!
