SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!! — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 27, 2013
I know! #WreckItRalph, right?! RT @kanyewest ARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!! — Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel) September 27, 2013
At this point, West begins making profanity laced internet memes dissing Jimmy Kimmel.
In a moment of levity, singer/songwriter Josh Groban chimes in.
@jimmykimmel @kanyewest is there anything….anything I can do…to help mend this friendship. — josh groban (@joshgroban) September 27, 2013
. @joshgroban @kanyewest you’ve done enough already http://t.co/dYSJFJACAW — Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel) September 27, 2013
It seems to have been genuine anger on West’s behalf, as Kimmel promised his followers that it was not a prank and that he’ll discuss the entire situation on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
If the short Kanye Kid (Re)Kreation video upset him, one can only wonder how he might feel after Kimmel delves further into this situation on his show. Perhaps West doesn’t understand how things work with comedians.
They generally take negative situations—like this—and use them as source material for more jokes.
