Trivia Question: Kobe Bryant attended high school in a suburb of which city?
Lakers have begun contract extension talks with Bryant

Los Angeles Lakers executive vice president of basketball operations Jim Buss said Friday that the team has started talks with Kobe Bryant’s representative on a contract extension, reports Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Los Angeles. The five-time NBA champion should have a deal on the table before he can become a free agent July 1, according to Buss. Bryant is in the final year of a three-year deal that will have paid him upwards of $83 million in total and $30.5 million this year. “I want to put an end to any speculation that we would allow Kobe to become a free agent,” Buss said. “That’s not going to happen. Kobe is a top priority for us. He’s a Laker legend and always will be. I don’t think we’re done winning championships with him yet.” The Lakers currently have just three players (Steve Nash, Nick Young and Robert Sacre) under contract for next season. Bryant, 35, is recovering from an Achilles injury that forced him to miss several months of basketball over the offseason. His production remained among top in the league last season; averaging 27.3 points per game and tied his highest assists total in career history at six a game.
Trivia Answer: Bryant attended Lower Merion High School located in the Philadelphia suburb of Lower Merion.
