Yeah, baby.
We waited all summer for this night to arrive, and the fun doesn’t end until the middle of June … at which time the fun begins anew with the strongest draft class since 2003 and the most star-studded free agent market since 2010.
In the meantime, can the Miami Heat “three-peat?”
Who is their strongest challenger — Brooklyn? Indiana? Chicago?
And how will again Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett be different this season — other than having “Brooklyn” or “Boston” written across their jerseys.
Also, how good will the Houston Rockets be now that Dwight Howard is aboard. My answers are contained in this podcast with Jon Stashower of NBC Sports Radio.
Enjoy.

MJ is definitely the king. Anytime i listen to his tracks i feel as he is still alive. Unquestionably one of the biggest music superstars ever!

Agree with most everything said in Podcast.
I would propose the question, for all the Heat Bandwagon people, who would you take, Heat or the Field (of Pacers, Nets and Bulls) to come out of East? The oddsmakers have it almost even, but that may change quickly if Heat get off to a slower start.
First time I heard proper evaluation of Lawrence Frank, with JKidd being the Motivator. Players won’t get tired of JKidd. Also agree about KG and Pierce. Kirilenko is equally important, and he is now set to play vs. Heat on Friday (limited play tomorrow vs Cavs could be possible if no setback).
Houston looked very good together in pre-season. Media should pay closer attention.
And as Sheridan Hoops has shown, preseason DOES matter for a team like the New Orleans (7-0) to predict making playoffs.
