Wednesday, November 27 was an active day in the NBA. 26 teams were in action, one squad emerged as the league’s top dog and a number of players had season or career-best performances.
Here’s everything you need to know about what went down.
1. The Indiana Pacers moved to 14-1 with a 99-74 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. C.J. Watson scored a season-high 18 points on a career-high six three-point field goals to guide Indiana to its best start in franchise history.
With the San Antonio Spurs’ loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Pacers are now in sole possession of the best record in the NBA.
2. Reggie Jackson matched his career-high by scoring 23 points to help the Thunder snap the Spurs’ 11-game winning streak. OKC won 94-88 win with Kevin Durant dropping 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Serge Ibaka put up 17 points, 11 boards and five blocks.
The Spurs attempted 27 three-point field goals, but converted just 25.9 percent and shot 64.3 percent from the free throw line.
3. LeBron James returned to Cleveland with 28 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals to lead the Miami Heat to a 95-84 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Dwyane Wade posted an efficient evening with 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting, and Michael Beasley put up 17 points and a season-high nine rebounds.

4. Steve Blake led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 99-94 victory over the Brooklyn Nets with nine points and 10 assists in 29 minutes. Blake now has six games with at least 10 assists in 2013-14 after posting zero from 2010-11 to 2012-13.
5. The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the New York Knicks 93-80. Blake Griffin had 15 points and 13 rebounds, and DeAndre Jordan had his 12th double-digit rebounding performance of the year. That’s more than half as many as he posted in 2012-13.
In the losing effort, Andrea Bargnani posted his second double-double of the year after tallying two in 2011-12 and 2012-13 combined.
6. The Chicago Bulls won their first game since Derrick Rose’s injury with a 99-79 victory over the Detroit Pistons. Luol Deng scored a season-high 27 points. Taj Gibson came off of the bench to post season-high marks of 23 points and eight rebounds on 11-of-13 shooting from the field.
Rodney Stuckey had another big game with 25 points and both Andre Drummond and Josh Smith tallied double-doubles for Detroit.
7. Monta Ellis had four points on 2-of-16 shooting, marking his lowest scoring total in a game that he played at least 30 minutes since Dec. 19, 2012. Ellis also had 10 assists and six separate Dallas Mavericks players were in double-figures to earn a 103-99 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
Dallas is 8-1 at home.
8. Points were easy to come by as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 117-110 at the Target Center. Ty Lawson continued his All-Star campaign with 23 points for Denver, while Kevin Martin dropped 29 to lead all scorers for the T-Wolves.
Every one of Minnesota’s starters scored at least 14 points to combine for 100 total, but the second unit added just 10.
9. Aaron Brooks and Francisco Garcia both scored 21 points as the Houston Rockets defeated the Atlanta Hawks 113-84. Brooks has now scored at least 20 points in two of his past three games after doing it just once in 2012-13.
10. Jerryd Bayless scored a season-high 22 points in 21 minutes to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 100-93 victory over the Boston Celtics. Seven separate Grizzlies players found the bottom of the net for at least eight points.
Bonus Fact: Quietly, Marcus and Markieff Morris of the Phoenix Suns are becoming one of the better young tandems in the NBA. The twin brothers combined for 34 points, with Marcus scoring 19 in 25 minutes and Markieff putting up 15 in 24 minutes. Marcus has scored in double-figures in nine of his past 12 games and Markieff in eight of 12.
Both are still just 24.
Bonus Fact: Nikola Vucevic put up 21 points, 16 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and a steal to lead the Orlando Magic to a 105-94 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Rookie shooting guard Victor Oladipo scored 18 points for the second consecutive game in this clash between rising stars.
For Philadelphia, Evan Turner had 17 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists for his second consecutive double-double. Rookie point guard Michael Carter-Williams finished with 23 points and Thaddeus Young had 26 and eight rebounds in a rare role as sixth man.
The future of the NBA is bright.

My last pay check was $8500 working 10 hours a week online. My younger brother friend has been averaging 12k for months now and he works about 22 hours a week. I can’t believe how easy it was once I tried it out. This is what I do,…………..
