President Obama remembers Nelson Mandela: “A man who took history in his hands and bent the arc of the moral universe towards justice.”

The National Basketball Association, having endured America’s own battles for racial equality and desegregation, and being the most ethnically-diverse sports league in America, certainly has its own appreciation for Mandela’s life and work. NBA Commissioner David Stern issued a statement regarding Mandela’s passing.

The profound impact that Mandela had on the world is not limited to the commissioner. Many players took to Twitter to express their thoughts. We begin with Oklahoma City Thunder forward Thabo Sefolosha, whose parents are from South Africa.

Thank you for askin and I say make the NBA Draft better give the pyelar more free range interview’s where you can say more then the pg, good guy stuff cuz every pyelar is not like that, every body on here has good idea’s. Bring back the All Star weekend, make the pyelars play how they play in real life, in the off season make the computer ask if you would like to make a trade with them and have them look at more then overall skill ratings Last thing is when you win a ring make it mean something again like a nice long interactive cutscene that can be skipped i know some ppl dont like to watch that but i do, after and before the off season you should get interviewed as the my pyelar and as the gm then a great off season live 10 was good to me but i dont want to play as the pyelars im going to pick when i scout them the pyelar should just watch the college kids play Thank you EA always been the best dont make it like 2k on that game you cant really pass and every thing inside is always blocked
