The new look Lakers are short on talent but long on hunger – they pulled another road win out of the fire in Toronto. In San Antonio, the reserves had a great day and the Spurs coasted to an easy win over the sad sack Buck. Kevin Durant/OKC was brilliant and the supporting cast was solid, again, as the Thunder held off the Kings. Today features a score of afternoon games on this holiday Monday, as well as a few night games. DraftStreet will be offering split start leagues, so if you can’t get in the 1 pm games, there will be evening contests up in the lobby as the day progresses. Here is today’s Fantasy Spin.
Fantasy Boom and Bust
Top Performers:
Kevin Durant/OKC. A dominant fantasy performance, even though he played only a few minutes in the second half. 10 of 15 FGA, 7 of 9 FTA, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 4 steals, 2 blocks, 3 TO, 30 points.
Isaiah Thomas/SAC. He took the reins after DeMarcus Cousins/SAC struggled.
Channing Frye/PHO, Ty Lawson/DEN, Arron Afflalo/ORL
Sleepers:
Patrick Mills/SAS. Tony Parker/SAS sat out and Mills came off the bench took full advantage. 8 of 12 FGA, 2 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals, 1 TO, 20 points.
Greivis Vasquez/TOR, Ryan Kelly/TOR, Nando De Colo/SAS
Disappointments:
Rudy Gay/SAC. Had little room to slash towards the basket against the Thunder. 3 of 7 FGA, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 TO, 6 points.
Kenneth Faried/DEN, Manu Ginobili/SAS, Ersan Illyasova/MIL.
