The 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend is well behind us, in the rearview mirror as we streak away towards the end of the regular season and the NBA Playoffs.
For some teams the playoffs may be out of reach. The New York Knicks, for instance, are only six games back of the 8th-seed with 25 games remaining. However, with only two wins in their last 10 outings and the team in effective disarray—Raymond Felton facing gun charges, Metta World Peace being released, owner James Dolan receiving threats and J.R. Smith making headlines for pulling Vince Carter’s headband down—the odds of reaching the postseason seem inconceivable.
The signing of forward Earl Clark and the possible addition of 33-year-old swing man Dahntay Jones aren’t exactly game-changing moves either.
At least Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony can enjoy the memories of his All-Star Weekend.
He did just that Tuesday afternoon, posting a video on his website (via his YouTube channel) with a behind-the-scenes look at his All-Star Media Day experience.
.@KingJames has some moves haha. Check out more #bts from All-Star Media Day. #NBAAllStarGame #ThisisMelo http://t.co/Jm9HoAItf9

It’s unfortunate that Anthony hasn’t been able to play on a legitimate title contending team, which may be a motivating factor in his decision to opt out of his contract this upcoming offseason.
At least he still has stuff to smile and laugh about—like video of Miami Heat star LeBron James doing a dance during All-Star Media Day.
