In a season that’s been a struggle for both the New Orleans Pelicans and its high-priced import Tyreke Evans, it seems like there’s a growing rift between player, coach and team. Evans did not play in Sunday night’s 93-81 loss to Brooklyn despite head coach Monty Williams playing 11 Pelicans players in the game. When asked why Evans didn’t play, Williams said “it’s just internal right now.” Evans and the New Orleans public relations staff declined to comment on the matter after

Fantasy Spin: Sunday, February 9, 2014
Early indications were that Kevin Love/MIN would play, but (along with Kevin Martin/MIN) he was a surprise scratch. That boosted the fantasy value of the other Wolves, but was not enough to hold off the Trail Blazers. The Spurs earned a road win in Charlotte, as Tim Duncan/SAS and Tony Parker/SAS returned to the fold. The Pistons were firing on all cylinders, working their six-man rotation to the point that the seventh and eight were an afterthought. A rare off night
PODCAST: Why Signing Andrew Bynum was Good Move by Pacers
Andrew Bynum is going to spend the next several weeks getting into shape and waving a towel for the NBA-leading Indiana Pacers, who have no plans to rush him into action after signing him last week.
