Z-Bo’s no-no made him a no-go for Game 7.
The NBA announced tonight that Zach Randolph is suspended for Game 7 of the Memphis Grizzlies’ first-round game against Oklahoma City on Saturday as a punishment for punching Steven Adams of the Thunder during the fourth quarter of the GRizzlies 104-84 loss Thursday night.
Here is a link to the video, which shows Randolph clocking Adams in the right jaw with a closed fist as the two ran upcourt off the ball.
The loss is potentially a huge one for the Grizzlies, depriving them of their starting power forward who has averaged a team-leading 18.2 points and 8,4 rebounds. The Grizzlies are not deep at power forward, with Ed Davis averaging only 4.0 minutes and 1.0 point in the series.
Randolph has been playing 39.0 minutes per game, while Pau Gasol is averaging 43 minutes in a series that has featured four overtime games.

First off its MARC Gasol. Gets your basic facts straight before you write a terrible article. Don’t agree with the new nba commissioner just because the sterling incident. Adams went for Z-Bo’s balls first and the video is only showing what Z-Bo did after that. The NBA rigged this game 7 so OKC would win. If OKC lost the nba would lose tons of money and silver can’t let that happen his first time on the job. If this was Kevin Durant throwing Tony Allen an elbow to the face, this wouldn’t even be a question: This wouldn’t even make the news. Lastly this pushing didn’t even draw a flagrant foul in the game so what the heck is the nba doing? This is all rigged, I guess it’s easier for the nba than the refs throwing the game.
