When the game is on the line, you can always count on Jesus to bail you out.
Jesus Shuttlesworth, that is.
Ray Allen had taken six 3-point attempts in Game 5 against the Brooklyn Nets and simply couldn’t get one to drop all game long. However, he saw one more opportunity when it mattered the most. With the Miami Heat down one point with 32 seconds left in the game, Mario Chalmers found an open Allen in the corner. The sharp-shooter then rose up without hesitation and did what he has done for a long time: bury an opponent with a dagger 3-pointer. The shot gave Miami its first lead since the second quarter and ultimately hung on to win the game 96-94, sending a disappointed Nets team into the offseason.
For Allen, this had to be more than just another dagger shot against a worthy opponent, given that it was against his former teammates Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. Garnett, in particular, gave Allen the cold shoulder when he bolted Boston during free agency to chase another ring with the Heat two seasons ago. To everyone’s knowledge, the two never kept in touch with each other again since the separation and the bond had been completely broken, especially with Allen ultimately winning another championship with LeBron James a season ago.
Talk show host Jim Rome described what it must have felt like for Allen to hit that shot to send Garnett and Pierce home, and sideline reporter Rachel Nichols agreed with the sentiment:
He’ll never, ever say it, but…yep RT @jimrome: Sending KG and Paul Pierce home probably felt like winning another ring for Ray Allen.

One can only imagine what it feels like to be Allen right now.

Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with
hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up
losing months of hard work due to no backup.
Do you have any solutions to prevent hackers?
