Tuesday night the NBA held its Draft Lottery to determine the top three picks in the forthcoming draft. Somehow, someway — conspiracy theorists have at it — the Cleveland Cavaliers won the top overall pick with only a 1.7-percent chance at it. This makes the second consecutive year that Dan Gilbert’s team has won the lottery, third time in the past four years. The results are in! The #Cavs hold the No. 1 pick in the upcoming @NBA Draft on June 26th.

SH Blog: Heat/Pacers look to make Game 2 adjustments; NBA Draft Lottery could determine future of several teams
Tuesday night is one of the few night’s during the NBA calendar year that is equal parts about the present as it is about the future. What more could we ask for? The Miami Heat have their backs against the wall as they try to even up their Eastern Conference Finals series in Indianapolis. But just before the Heat and Pacers tip, the NBA will hold its annual Draft Lottery to determine the first 14 picks in this June’s draft. Unlike the 2013
Bauman: Positionless Players Par for the Course in Today’s NBA
CHICAGO – If there was anything to be learned at the 2014 NBA Draft combine, it is that when discussing prospects, positions are somewhat blown out of proportion. Despite their size, a prospect must must become very well-rounded in order to reach true star status at the next level. “It’s not new to see guys playing multiple positions,” Tom Penn, an ESPN analyst, told the Wall Street Journal in 2012. “But we’ve never seen this many elite players play multiple positions at an elite
Photo of the Day: Andrew Wiggins’ unreal 44-inch vertical
Andrew Wiggins is the projected top pick in most mock drafts right now, including our own Joe Kotoch’s, and his insane athleticism is a major reason why. After Tuesday’s draft lottery, we’ll see which franchise is in position to land him. Photo via p3sportsscience on Instagram

(READERS: Jan Hubbard suggested this morning that the staff make lottery predictions. And while I am comfortable myself predicting a Nuggets win with the Knicks’ combination of numbers, it is truly a guessing game. So you have my guess, and here is Hubbard’s — in a column originally published Jan. 11-CS) While Laker haters throughout the NBA are able to enjoy the struggles of one of the two most successful franchises in the league, they perhaps have overlooked the irony of
Win or lose – LA Wins
In sports, there’s really no way to guarantee a win – unless you happen to be a crooked ref or a big-time mafia don. Next week, though, ScoreBig is changing all that. They’re turning LA into a giant winner’s circle with a crazy promotion that actually guarantees that every single Los Angeles sports team will come away with a W. If you buy tickets to a game through ScoreBig and your beloved Dodgers/Angels/Galaxy/Chivas/KISS lose, you’ll get a credit for your

Click on this banner to sign up for DraftStreet’s two-day NBA playoff fantasy leagues Finishing 20th out of 75 participants brought me no solace. And no money. Today, like the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder, I will hit the reset button. But first, an autopsy of the past 48 hours is in order. I have been operating on the studs and duds theory of fantasy basketball, and the duds I picked to fill out my lineups the past
