The match opened with a goal on a penalty kick by Spain 27 minutes into the action. Unfortunately for the Spanish, the Dutch were much more active and aggressive. It was like watching the soccer equivalent of the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat from both Game 3 and 4.
The Dutch evened the score with a beautiful header by Robin Van Persie in the 44th minute.

The Dutch took the lead early in the second half when Arjen Robben scored in the 53rd minute. Both Robin and Robben would each go on to score their second goal later as the match drew closer to its end.
The final goal by Robben would put the match on ice as the Dutch would carry the 5-1 lead to the final whistle.
